Every Detail Matters

Designed by David Wright

David has an exceptional history working in furniture design and manufacturing, dating back to his childhood. He was born in Kirkcaldy, Scotland, to a Master Cabinetmaker who started his own furniture business after World War II. David and his brothers worked in their dad’s workshop as kids, and all of them continue to work in the furniture industry to this day.

David went to school for Furniture Design & Manufacture, and went on to work with furniture companies in Scotland, Zambia, Malawi, and South Africa before bringing his expertise to the United States. David has started his own company, worked in special projects for manufacturers, and even worked with a furniture company connected to the president of Malawi. David has been with the Dauphin family of brands since 1998 and likes to tell people he is the “fourth youngest” person on the Design Services team.
